“Mi Vida is owned and operated by KNEAD Hospitality & Design, whose founders Jason Berry and Michael Reginbogin are partners in life, as well as business. Mi Vida's Culinary Director, Roberto Santibanez, a native of Mexico City and one of the most respected authorities on Mexican cuisine in the US, is also a member of the LGBTQ community. What first grabs your attention when visiting Mi Vida is the stunning interior decor. The stunning 11,000 square foot water-front restaurant boasts floor to ceiling windows and guests are welcomed by an intricate 19 ft. "Tree of Life" clay sculpture adorned with colorful Oaxacan-inspired flowers. Apart from the design, Chef Roberto Santibañez creates a menu inspired by Mexican street food and traditional home cooking of his country, but in a modern, elevated presentation. Favorite menu items include the Queso Fundido, selection of tacos, and the Carne Asada. The cocktails are also not to be missed, from traditional margaritas to specialty drinks, like the Mez-Skull with mezcal, raspberry, spicy tapioca pearls, and dry curacao served in skill shaped glassware.”
