“Owned and operated by partners, Sam and Wenter, who aim to create a space of acceptance and joy for the queer community. Paying homage to their Asian heritage using traditional Asian ingredients in new and inventive ways, while sharing their love for each other and the LGBT community at the same time. The music played in the showroom and the fun aesthetic are all considerations made with a queer eye and experience in focus. Charitable donations of pastries, pop ups, and collaborations with Bay Area queer food folks is a weekly occurrence. No place better meshes fine pastry with Asian heritage/culture and the queer experience/identity.”

“The pastries and drinks at Third Culture Bakery are always delicious, and the owners and staff are friendly and fun. The mochi muffins and mochi donuts are must-try items. Third Culture Bakery aims to make the world a better and gayer place. Right now their showroom is in Berkeley, and they're opening a location in Colorado later this year.”
